you mention that you are unsure of what happened to the Bush Mill Railway stock, well it has all come over to the UK.  The maroon tank loco 'Mountaineer' and the coaching stock is now at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway in Lincolnshire.  Plenty of pictures of it on Colin Peake's excellent website here.  Mountaineer is fully operational

The Garratt is now at the Perrygrove Railway in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, and has recently returned to service following a thorough overhaul, pictures are of it on the railway's website
