		<description>Trent it&#039;s amazing what you can use to build various bits and pieces for just about any sort of model. A lot of years ago now Barry Dean - a well-known modeller in Orange - and I each scratchbuilt a NSWGR 11 class steam loco in HO.

I wondered what we were going to use for the boiler but Barry had the problem solved even before we started the project. He had two brass tube-shaped containers that had once been used to hold the grease that the Army supplied for soldiers to clean their Lee-Enfield 303 rifles.

They were the perfect diameter for the boiler plus boiler-band and there was enough thickness in the sides of the tube to allow us to turn the boiler down to the right diameter between the boiler-bands.
