The 2009 Brisbane Model Train Show

The 32nd Annual Brisbane Model Train Whow was held at the RNA showgrounds in Brisbane over the May long weekend. The display filled three halls and included numerous layouts and trade stands. Toni and I attended on the Sunday morning and the crowds were incredible. We spent three hours threre and still didn't get to see everything fighting out way through the crowds and prams got to be a bit much after a while.

This was the first exhibition we had attended in around eight years and it might be a while before we go back to one this big again.

There was plenty of great modeling on display but these photos concentrate on my primary interest ... narrow gauge.

One of the highlights of the exhibition ... if the crowds around it on the Sunday morning ... was anything to go by was Duck Creek.
